Suryansh Logistics Private Limited

Leader in Handling and Transportation of Coal through RCR in supply chain management. Planned expansion to become private rail operator for Coal and Minerals and Automobiles transportation.

Suryansh Logistics is Suryansh Group’s Logistics Management arm responsible for handling and transportation of Coal, Iron Ore, Fly-Ash, other Minerals and Automobile through Road, Rail, Sea and intermodal RCR. The company is run by proficient and experienced personnel well-versed with all the intricacies of the Logistics Management thereby proving themselves as one of the best Logisticians in the industry. Suryansh Logistics which commenced its operations as a service-based company primarily responsible for handling and transportation of Coal with its unfaltering service has worked with some of the most eminent Industry players the likes of Essar Power, Essar Steel and Adani Group among others. Leveraging its vast experience, the company is now moving ahead to become asset-based Logistics Management company by acquiring specialized rail-wagons in order to be able to transport goods more efficiently and reliably.

With the introduction of Indian Railways Ministry’s - General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme (GPWIS), touted as one of the biggest and significant reform in the Indian Railways (IR)- private players can now transport restricted commodities like coal, ore and minerals, which otherwise were completely controlled by the public transporter. Suryansh Logistics under this scheme has expansion plans in the pipeline to purchase and own 3 rakes of BOXNHL (Coal) type wagons initially. Each rake comprises 59 wagons with the capacity to move 1.4 million tonnes of coal per annum. Our estimates suggest that it will take 6 years to realize each rake’s investment from the day of its commissioning and with the life of a rake spanning 35 years it would be an asset creation for Suryansh Logistics from the 7th year.

With all the major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in India eyeing to transport at least 50% of its Automobiles through the Railways by 2030 up from the current level of 10%, Suryansh Logistics has expansion plans in the pipeline to transport Automobileson its privately owned BCACBM (Automobile) type wagon rakes by getting into a long-term contract with the OEMs.
